  • We offer a range of programs, including special education, English language development, and counseling services to support diverse student needs.

  • Safety is our top priority. We have secure campus entry points, regular emergency drills, and on-site staff trained in emergency response. Our visitor management system ensures that all guests are signed in and monitored.

  • Our school hours are 9:05 am to 4:05 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays, our school hours are from 9:05 am to 2:15 pm.

  • We welcome family involvement! Parents are encouraged to get involved in their child’s learning environment by either volunteering, participating in a decision-making group, or simply attending school events.

  • Technology is integrated into daily instruction at Barstow STEM Academy. Teachers rely on Google Classroom to manage and distribute digital assignments, which students complete using Chromebooks. Through frequent use in class to write essays and analyze data, students build proficiency in Google Workspace tools like Docs, Sheets, and Forms.

A very warm welcome to Barstow STEM Academy! Like the Phoenix, our school family rises together, dedicated to creating a caring, engaging, and inspiring place for every child to learn and grow. As principal, I am truly honored to partner with you and lead a school community grounded in academic excellence and heart—guided every day by Respect, Integrity, Self-Discipline, and Empathy. Our incredible team of educators works side-by-side to spark curiosity, nurture discovery, and help our middle schoolers grow into confident problem-solvers and lifelong learners. We celebrate what makes every student unique, and we are committed to opening up personalized pathways that encourage each learner to reach their fullest potential.

As a new school year begins, we are thrilled for all the amazing opportunities in store. Our focus remains on giving our students the strong foundation, skills, and confidence they need for high school and beyond.
